SAN JOSE, Calif.—The San José State women's tennis team hosts UC San Diego Tuesday afternoon in the final non-conference dual match of the season. Doubles play begins at noon, followed by singles.
The defending Mountain West champions then travel to Fresno this weekend for neutral-site dual matches to open conference play. The team plays Colorado State Saturday morning and Wyoming on Sunday morning. Both days are set to begin at 9 a.m.
- The team is looking to break a five-match losing streak on Tuesday against the Tritons.
- Rozalina Youseva continues to lead the team in duals with a singles record of 6-2 and a 12-2 overall singles record. She also has a 5-2 record in doubles in dual match competition.
- The Spartans were 8-1 in MW play during the 2021 season, defeating Wyoming 4-3 at the Spartan Tennis Complex, while the Colorado State contest was canceled due to COVID.
