SAN JOSE, Calif. – Charles McAdoo hit two home runs and had three RBIs to lead San José State (13-10, 6-5 Mountain West) in a 8-5 win against UNLV (14-9, 7-1 Mountain West) Saturday afternoon at Excite Ballpark to hand the Rebels their first conference loss of the season.
- It is the first time this season a Spartan has had a multi-home run game
- 8-of-9 Spartans had a hit in the victory
- McAdoo has five home runs and has been on base in every game this season, plus has a hit in 21 of 23 games
- Hunter Dorraugh went 3-for-4 and had an RBI double
- Danny Zimmerman hit his fourth home run of the season, a two-run shot
- Makana Olaso had an RBI double for his first career double
- Ruben Mercado had his first RBI of the season
- Darren Jansen is now 3-1 on the season and had four strikeouts in five innings of work
- Ethan Ross started the game and had five strikeouts in four innings
