SJSU Ends The Goodwin in 23rd Place

STANFORD, Calif. -
Kristopher Stiles posted a final round score of 73 to finish in a tie for 58th place with an overall score of 212 (+2) to lead the San José State men's golf team at The Goodwin, hosted by Stanford. Stiles carded a career-best 64 (-6) in the opening round and helped the Spartans finish in 23rd place with an overall score of 860 (+20).

  • Caleb Shetler and Carl Corpus each shot 2-over par 72 to lead SJSU in the final round
  • Shetler finished with an overall score of 213 (+3) and in a tie for 69th place
  • Corpus tallied a tie for 77th-place finish with a score of 214 (+4)
  • San José State made 43 birdies for the tournament and two eagles, both by Stiles
  • The Spartans finished in the top 10 for the field with 152 pars

UP NEXT: SJSU will host the 75th Western Intercollegiate, presented by TOPGOLF on April 11-13, at Pasatiempo Golf Club and fans are invited to come out and support the Spartans.
