SAN JOSE, Calif. – Robert Hamchuk went 5-for-5 and scored four runs to lead San José State (12-10, 5-5 Mountain West) in a 14-11 loss against UNLV (14-8, 7-0 Mountain West) Friday night at Excite Ballpark.
- Hamchuk also hit his fifth double of the season
- James Shimashita drove in three and hit his fourth double of the season
- Charles McAdoo had an RBI double and has been on base in every game this season
- McAdoo also has a hit in 20 of the Spartans 22 games and had a pair of doubles on the night
- Dalton Bowling has 10 RBIs in the last four games
- Theo Hardy, Omar Gastelum and Hunter Dorraugh all had an RBI on the night
- Shimashita and Jack Colette each had outfield assists when they helped throw runners out at home
- Colette went 2-for-4 on the night with a double and a run scored, plus a stolen base
