SAN JOSE, Calif. - Robert Hamchuk went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored, plus James Shimashita added two RBIs, a double and a run scored to lead San José State (14-11, 6-6 Mountain West) in a 14-8 win against UC Davis (0-13, 0-6 Big West) Tuesday afternoon at Excite Ballpark.
- Brady Hill hit an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth and went 2-for-4 on the day with two runs scored
- Charles McAdoo hit a double in the eighth and has been on base in every game this season with a hit in 23-of-25 games
- McAdoo also had two RBI's to extend his team lead to 25 which is good for second in the Mountain West
- Makana Olaso had an RBI single
- Casey Spencer gave up two hits and struck out four in 4.0 innings of work
- Nathan Cadena went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI
- Danny Zimmerman, Jeriah Lewis, Omar Gastelum, Theo Hardy, Jackson Forbes and Dalton Bowling also crossed the plate for the Spartans
- Corey Sanchez gave up one hit and had a strikeout in 2.0 innings
- Darren Jansen is now 4-1 on the season and went 1.1 innings while only giving up one hit
- This ends a stretch of 20 home games out of 25 games for the Spartans, they will be on the road for their next 11 games
