FULLERTON, Calif. 
- Nathan Cadena hit a two RBI double to lead San José State (14-12, 6-6 Mountain West) in a 6-5 loss at Cal State Fullerton (9-14, 4-2 Big West) Wednesday night.

The Spartans were down 4-0 early and came back to tie the game up in the seventh, but the Titans put two across in the bottom of the frame to take a lead they wouldn't relinquish.

  • Dalton Bowling had an RBI single in the ninth to put the Spartans within one run
  • Cadena had two doubles and scored a run for the Spartans
  • Reece Hernandez hit an RBI double
  • Robert Hamchuk also had a double on the night
  • Charles McAdoo hit a sac fly to the game up in the seventh and kept his season long on base streak going thanks to a hit and a walk
  • McAdoo has hits in 24-of-26 games this season
  • James Shimashita hit his first triple of the season and scored the game tying run in the seventh
  • Hamchuk, Jack Colette and Danny Zimmerman all crossed the plate as well
  • Micky Thompson went 5.0 innings pitched and struck out six in the no decision
