LOS ANGELES - The San José State baseball team (14-12, 6-6 Mountain West) heads to USC (14-8, 4-5 PAC-12) for a three-game series starting on Friday at 6:00 p.m. from Dedeaux Field.
- This is the first meeting between the schools since March 2, 1984
- The Spartans just finished a stretch of 20 home games out of their first 25 games. SJSU will play 11 in a row which started Wednesday at Fullerton
- The Spartans lead the Mountain West Conference with 31 home runs this season and are ranked 43rd as a team in the country
- Sophomore Charles McAdoo is hitting a team best .388 with six home runs and a team best 26 RBIs which is good for second in the MW and leads the conference with 40 hits. McAdoo has a hit in 24 of the Spartans 26 games this season and has been on base in every game which is good for second in SJSU history
- Redshirt sophomore Hunter Dorraugh has eight home runs to lead the Spartans this season and is tied for second in Mountain West and 43rd in the nation
- Redshirt sophomore Dalton Bowling has four home runs in his last seven games including the game tying home run against Santa Clara in the top of the ninth inning (3/22). He came into the season with one career home run and his 24 RBIs this year is second on the team
- Redshirt sophomore Brady Hill has seven saves this season which is good for tops in the Mountain West and fourth in the country
