SAN JOSE, Calif. – Trey Anderson had 12 points to lead San José State (8-22, 1-17 Mountain West) in a 75-52 loss against Utah State (17-14, 8-10 Mountain West) from the Provident Credit Union Event Center Friday night to close out regular season play.
- Anderson shot 4-of-5 from three on the night
- Shon Robinson shot 5-for-6 from the field with 11 points
- Myron (MJ) Amey, Jr. added 11 points, with four rebounds and four assists
- Omari Moore fouled out for the third time this season and had six points, five boards and four assists
- Ibrahima Diallo added seven points with one block
- Harminder Dhaliwal had one block in two minutes of work
- Utah State was led by Justin Bean with 18 points and 11 boards
Mountain West Championship: The Spartans will play Fresno State at 4 p.m. next Wednesday in the first round of the Mountain West Championship in Las Vegas.
