SAN JOSE, Calif. – Dalton Bowling had a two-out RBI single in the bottom of the eighth to lead San José State (8-4, 2-1 Mountain West) in a 4-2 win against New Mexico (4-7, 1-2 Mountain West) from Excite Ballpark Sunday afternoon to give the Spartans their first conference series win of the season taking 2-of-3 from the Lobos.
Charles McAdoo started the rally with a two-out RBI double to left field in the eighth scoring Brady Hill from second to cut the Lobos lead to one.
