SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State baseball team (8-4, 2-1 Mountain West) heads out on the road for the first time this season taking on Cal Poly (5-6, 0-0 Big West) for a lone game Tuesday night with first pitch set for 6:00 p.m.
- The Spartans won their first Mountain West series of the season taking 2-of-3 from the Lobos. It is the Spartans first conference series win since sweeping the Lobos in 2019
- Sophomore Charles McAdoo hit .545 with a 1.000 slugging percentage while knocking in four and hitting the game-winning home run (3/5) in his first three conference games of the season. McAdoo is second on the team with a .396 average
- Redshirt sophomore Robert Hamchuk has a hit in nine straight games and leads the team with a .423 batting average. Hamchuk has two leadoff home runs this season to go along with a team leading 22 hits and is batting .538 in conference play
- Redshirt junior Jonathan Clark threw five innings of shutout ball on Saturday (3/5) while striking out seven and only giving up three hits and no walks. Clark is coming off an injury and has had his pitch limits improve every game
