MEET SCHEDULE

SAN JOSÉ, Calif. – 
The San Jose State men and women's track and field team will split up the weekend, spending time in Clovis at the West Coast Relays and at Cobb Track and Angell Field for the Stanford Invitational. The jumpers and throwers will head to the Stanford Invitational on Friday, April 2, and the sprinters and distance group will compete at the West Coast Relays on Friday before joining the field event athletes at Stanford on Saturday.

MEN

  • Micah Hairston is leading the Mountain West in the 110mH with his 14.14 finish at the Cal Opener on March 5 and his time of 54.82 is good for fifth in the 400mH
  • Paul McCants is seventh in the conference after running 21.73 in the 200m at the Cal Opener
  • The 4x100m relay team of Jalen Adams, McCants, Harry Overstreet, and Bashar Barksdale finished first at the Cardinal Classic. Their time of 41.6 is second-best in the conference
  • Kyle Jankans long jump of 6.82m at the Cardinal Classic puts him in seventh in the conference
  • Jacob Lopez is second in the MW with a shot put of 16.37m recorded at the Cal Opener
  • Bryan Quintero's hammer throw of 60.82m leads the conference and Bryson Smith's 53.90m throw is good for sixth

 
WOMEN

  • The Mountain West women's shot put is led by Grace Togiai's PR of 16.11m
  • Emilia Sjostrand leads the conference in the triple jump (12.51m)
  • Daniela Salazar is sixth in the Mountain West in the 5000m with a time of 18:02.39 at the Cardinal Classic
  • Lina Shubert is tied for third in the MW in the high jump with a 1.71m jump at the Cal Opener
  • Sydney Bentley's 55.79 is sixth in the conference in the 400m
