SAN DIEGO – Makana Olaso hit a two RBI double in the seventh while Dalton Bowling, Theo Hardy and Jack Colette all went long to lead San José State (18-15, 9-6 Mountain West) in a 7-3 win at San Diego State (7-24, 1-14 Mountain West) Sunday afternoon to sweep the Aztecs for the second time this season and first time in San Diego since 1973.
- Bowling hit his sixth home run on the season, a solo shot, plus scored a pair of runs
- Hardy hit a two-run home run for his first of the season and went 2-for-4 in the win
- Colette hit a two-run home run for his second of the season and also had a double with two runs scored
- Right-handed pitcher Aaron Eden went 6.0 innings with two strikeouts and one earned run on the way to his fourth win of the season
- Charles McAdoo walked and kept his SJSU record on-base streak alive at 33 games
- Pitchers Corey Sanchez and Brady Hill combined for 2.2 innings of scoreless relief
- The Spartans outscored the Aztecs 22-11 in the three-game series and this is the first series win in San Diego for the Spartans since 1997
