SAN JOSÉ, Calif. - The San José State Softball Team (19-18, 5-7 Mountain West) will host the University of Las Vegas (28-9, 6-3 Mountain West) this weekend after a successful road trip to Nevada. The Spartans won the series, 2-1, over the Wolf Pack. San José State and the Rebels will square off in a three-game conference series beginning Thursday, April 14th, at 6:00 p.m. at Spartan Softball Complex.
The series will be streamed live on the Mountain West Network.

- Karizma Bergesen earned Mountain West Player of the Week honors this week (4/11) for her performance at Nevada where she set a new SJSU single-game home run record for her three home runs
- Bergesen leads the team in home runs (8) and RBIs (21), and is batting .313
- After an explosive weekend at the plate, The Spartans are batting .294
- Alyssa Graham leads the Mountain West Conference with 50 hits and has a team-best ten doubles
- The Spartans recorded 40 runs on 40 hits in the three-game series victory at Nevada
- The Spartans pitching staff sit at second in the conference (2.71 ERA)
- Jenessa Ullegue (14-4) boasts a 1.73 ERA (2nd in the MW) and has a team-best 88 strikeouts on the season
- UNLV lost their last conference series 1-2 when they hosted #25 San Diego State
- The Rebels pitching staff has a combined ERA of 3.05
- UNLV's top pitcher Jenny Bressler (15-6) has an ERA of 2.16 (123.1 IP)
- Mia Trejo (.407) and Sofia Morales (.404) lead the Rebels at the plate and have a combined total of 80 hits

The Spartans will travel to Boise State for a three-game series from Friday, April 22nd to Sunday, April 24th. Friday's game will begin at 2:00 p.m. and the series will be streamed on the Mountain West Network.
