SAN JOSÉ, Calif. – The San Jose State men and women's track and field team will attend the Mt. SAC Invitational, the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Long Beach Invitational this weekend. The teams will split time between the three California based meets over two days from April 15-16.
MEN
- Micah Hairston is leading the Mountain West in the 110mH with his 14.14 finish at the Cal Opener on March 5 and his time of 54.82 is good for sixth in the 400mH
- The 4x100m relay team finished first at the Cardinal Classic. Their time of 41.6 is third-best in the conference
- Kyle Jankans high jump of 2.05m at the Stanford Invite ties him at third in the conference
- Jacob Lopez is fourth in the MW with a shot put of 16.45m recorded at the Stanford Invite
- Bryan Quintero's hammer throw of 60.82m leads the conference
WOMEN
- The Mountain West women's shot put is led by Grace Togiai's PR of 16.11m
- Gabby Spencer's time of 23.63 in the 200m dash at the West Coast Relays leads the conference
- The 4x100m relay squad at the West Coast Relays leads the Mountain West with a time of 45.60
- Mahkaia Lee jumped 6.19m at the Stanford Invite to jump into second in the MW
- Emilia Sjostrand is third in the conference in the triple jump (12.51m)
- Lina Shubert is tied for sixth in the MW in the high jump with a 1.71m jump at the Cal Opener
- Sydney Bentley's 54.92 is sixth in the conference in the 400m
- Sophie Liao is sixth in the conference in the 100m dash with a time of 11.90 run at the West Coast Relays
