- Nick Watts tallied a 5-over 75 and is currently in a tie for eighth place (145/+5) to lead San José State in the second round of the 75th Western Intercollegiate on Tuesday at Pasatiempo Golf Club. The Spartans are currently in 11th place with an overall score of 770 (+70).

  • R.J. Cesario carded an eight-shot improvement with a 76 (+6) in his second round
  • Zubair Firdaus and Vijay Srinivasan each posted a score of 77 (+7) for the Spartans
  • Firdaus and Kristopher Stiles are both tied for 29th place with an overall score of 150 (+10)
  • Average scoring went down almost a full stroke today (77.39 in Round 1, 76.16 in Round 2)
  • Colorado State's Rasmus Hjelm shot 1-under 69 today to grab the 36-hole lead with an overall score of 139 (-1)
  • Texas' Pierceson Coody is currently three shots off the lead after a 2-over 72 today
  • No. 9 Texas currently leads the team competition by four shots over No. 8 Pepperdine
