Spartans Rally in Ninth, But Fall Short at UNLV

LAS VEGAS 
– Nathan Cadena went 2-for-4 with two RBI singles and Charles McAdoo went 3-for-6 with two RBIs to lead San José State (18-16, 9-7 Mountain West) in a 13-12 loss at UNLV (23-11, 13-3 Mountain West) Thursday night.
 
The Spartans were down 6-0 and took the lead in the 5th inning for the first time on the night, but they couldn't hold it and then came back with four runs in the ninth to fall a run short.
