LAS VEGAS – Nathan Cadena went 2-for-4 with two RBI singles and Charles McAdoo went 3-for-6 with two RBIs to lead San José State (18-16, 9-7 Mountain West) in a 13-12 loss at UNLV (23-11, 13-3 Mountain West) Thursday night.
The Spartans were down 6-0 and took the lead in the 5th inning for the first time on the night, but they couldn't hold it and then came back with four runs in the ninth to fall a run short.
- McAdoo's SJSU on-base record is now at 34 straight games and he leads the team with 34 RBIs and 31 runs scored
- McAdoo has a hit in 30 of the Spartans 34 games
- James Shimashita had an RBI double and scored a run
- Hunter Dorraugh had a sac fly
- Dalton Bowling scored three runs and went 2-for-4
- Danny Zimmerman had an RBI single
