RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif.—Natasha Andrea Oon extended her lead by two on Tuesday as she shot a 2-under 70 in the second round of the Mountain West Championships, the fifth-ranked San José State women's golf team has a 25-shot lead in the team standings at 7-under 569 after playing the Dinah Shore Tournament Course at the Mission Hills Country Club.

- Oon has a six-shot lead over teammate Lucia Lopez Ortega. Oon made five birdies over her round including a final on the 18th for the second consecutive day.
- Oon continues to lead the field in birdies made with 13, par-4 scoring at -3, and par-5 scoring at -8.

- Lopez Ortega shot a one-over 73 and continues in second place at 3-under 141. She has finished under par in two of the past three tournaments played.
- Lopez Ortega started the second round making eight consecutive pars and ended with 15 pars for her round.
- Kajsa Arwefjäll moved into a tie for fourth place after shooting 1-under 71 and is at even-par 144 after two rounds. She made five birdies during her round and leads the field in par-3 scoring at -1.

- Antonia Malate is tied for 10th after shooting a 4-over 76 and is 5-over for the tournament. She was 1-under for the first nine holes of the round, but found some trouble on the back nine, shooting +5 over her final nine holes.
- Louisa Carlbom is tied for 20th at 7-over 151. She shot a 5-over 77 during her second round and started the day by making par on nine of her first 11 holes.
- San José State leads the field in birdies made with 35, par-4 scoring at +4 and par-5 scoring at -13.
- The Spartans set two more Mountain West Championship records after 36 holes.
