CLOVIS, Calif. - Jalen Adams set a personal record in the men's 200m dash when the San José State men's and women's track and field team sent it's sprinters and distance runners out to Clovis on Friday for the West Coast Relays. Adams ran a 21.67, shaving about four-tenths of a second off his previous best.

WOMEN
- Jicel Fernandez ran a lifetime PR of 17:43.88 en route to a first-place finish in the 5000m
- The women's 4x100m won the relay event in a season-best 45.60 seconds
- Gabby Spencer won her heat of the 200m with a PR of 23.63 to place second overall
- Sophie Liao ran the 100m dash in 11.90 (7th)
MEN
- Micah Hairston finished second in the men's 110mH in a time of 14.25
- Jalen Adams ran a PR of 21.67 in the 200m (6th) and finished the 100m in a time of 10.90 good for seventh overall
- Bashar Barksdale ran a PR of 48.08 for third place in the 400m
- Omar Piña ran two lifetime PRs: 15:55.54 in the 5000m and 4:03.49 in the 1500m

The runners will join the field event athletes at the Stanford Invitational on Saturday, April 2 at Cobb Track and Angell Field.
