SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State baseball team (19-18, 9-9 Mountain West) hosts Nevada (20-15, 12-6 Mountain West) for a three-game Series starting on Friday at 6:05 p.m. from Excite Ballpark. The game can be seen on the Mountain West Network.
- The Spartans have won six of their last eight home games
- Sophomore Charles McAdoo is hitting a team best .377 and is second on the team with 10 home runs which is good for third in the Mountain West and a team best 39 RBIs which is good for seventh in the MW. McAdoo has a hit in 32 of the Spartans 37 games this season and has been on base in every game which is a SJSU record of 37 straight games
- Redshirt sophomore Robert Hamchuk had five hits against UNLV (4/14-16) and has hits in 28 games this season. Hamchuk is tied with McAdoo for fifth in the Mountain West with 56 hits
- SJSU is second in the Mountain West Conference with 47 home runs this season
- Redshirt sophomore Hunter Dorraugh has 11 home runs to lead the Spartans and is second in the Mountain West
- Redshirt sophomore Dalton Bowling has hits in 21 of his last 25 games including seven hits in their last series against UNLV (4/14-16) and has seven home runs including the game tying home run against Santa Clara in the top of the ninth inning (3/22). He came into the season with one career home run and his 28 RBIs this year is second on the team
- Redshirt sophomore Brady Hill has eight saves this season which is good for tops in the Mountain West and tied for 11th in the country
