The San José State women's water polo team begins play at the 2022 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation on Friday, April 22, as the Spartans face #2-seed Stanford to start the day. All matches will be played at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center on the campus of USC in Los Angeles, Calif.
The Spartans faced the Cardinal on April 9, when the No. 2 Stanford won 15-5.
Depending on the outcome, San José State will face the winner/loser of the UCLA/Indiana match on Saturday.
Two Spartans were honored on Thursday by the MPSF. Riley Agerbeek received All-MPSF honorable mention honors, while Cila David was named to the MPSF All-Newcomer team.
