SAN JOSE, Calif. – Hunter Dorraugh hit a three-run home run and James Shimashita had a game-winning two RBI double in the seventh inning to lead San José State (20-18, 10-9 Mountain West) in a 6-5 win against Nevada (20-16, 12-7 Mountain West) Friday night from Excite Ballpark.
- Dorraugh leads the Spartans with 12 home runs on the season and has 32 RBIs
- Dorraugh is only three home runs shy of the SJSU single season home run record set by former Major League Baseball player Jeff Ball in 1990 and.has seven multi-RBI games this season
- Charles McAdoo's SJSU record on-base streak was extended to 38 straight games
- Shimashita has 15 RBIs on the season
- RHP Brady Hill went 2.0 innings for his Mountain West leading ninth save of the season
- Reece Hernandez scored two runs for the Spartans, McAdoo and Colette each crossed the plate once

Dam Worth It Game: Dam Worth It is a student-run organization that prioritizes the mental health of student-athletes and aims to diminish the stigma around mental health. Dam Worth It uses the platform of sport and storytelling of athletes to promote mental health awareness. They wear green ribbons to symbolize mental health awareness and to support those battling with their own mental health struggles. They will have informational booths out near the Excite Ballpark entrance with resource cards, wristbands, and t-shirts on Sunday.
