BOISE, Idaho - Jules Ronquillo's fourth inning infield single was the lone hit recorded in San José State softball's (20-21, 6-10 Mountain West) 8-0 loss to Boise State (29-10, 8-5 Mountain West) in 6 innings on Friday afternoon at Dona Larsen Park. Ronquillo went 1-for-3 and broke up the Broncos' potential no-hitter.

- The Spartans' biggest chance came in the fourth inning when Ronquillo's hit, two fielder's choice at bats and a walk loaded the bases with two outs, but San José State could not capitalize
- San José State only struck out once in 21 at bats and made contact into an out 14 times
- The Spartans drew two walks
- Caroline Bowman (2-9) started in the circle and threw 3.0 IP before Ashley Goard came in for the remaining 2.2 innings
