SAN JOSE, Calif. – Hunter Dorraugh went 4-for-4 with a solo home run to lead San José State (20-19, 10-10 Mountain West) in a 14-3 loss against Nevada (21-16, 13-7 Mountain West) Saturday afternoon from Excite Ballpark.
- Dorraugh has a team leading 13 home runs and it's his fourth home run in the last five games, plus his second in this series against Nevada
- Dorraugh has 33 RBIs on the season and scored two runs, plus extended his hit streak to five games and it's his first career four hit game
- Dorraugh is two home runs behind former Major League Baseball player Jeff Ball for the SJSU record of 15 home runs in a season
- Makana Olaso hit his third home run of the season, a two-run shot
- Robert Hamchuk went 2-for-4
- Charles McAdoo had a single in the eighth inning to extend his SJSU record on-base streak to 39 games
Dam Worth It Game: Dam Worth It is a student-run organization that prioritizes the mental health of student-athletes and aims to diminish the stigma around mental health. Dam Worth It uses the platform of sport and storytelling of athletes to promote mental health awareness. They wear green ribbons to symbolize mental health awareness and to support those battling with their own mental health struggles. They will have informational booths out near the Excite Ballpark entrance with resource cards, wristbands, and t-shirts on Sunday.
