SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State baseball team (21-19, 11-10 Mountain West) heads to UC Davis (4-22, 3-15 Big West) for a single game on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. from Dobbins Stadium.

  • SJSU took two out of three games from Nevada over the weekend and it was their first series win over the Wolf Pack since 2017
  • The Spartans have hit 52 home runs this season which ties the SJSU record for most home runs as a team in a season, they are also third in the Mountain West Conference for home runs

  • Sophomore Charles McAdoo is hitting a team best .364 and is second on the team with 10 home runs which is good for third in the Mountain West and a team best 39 RBIs which is good for eighth in the MW. McAdoo has a hit in 34 of the Spartans 40 games this season and has been on base in every game which is a SJSU record of 40 straight games
  • Redshirt sophomore Robert Hamchuk had four hits against Nevada (4/22-24) and has hits in 30 games this season. Hamchuk is tied with McAdoo for seventh in the Mountain West with 59 hits
  • Redshirt sophomore Hunter Dorraugh has 13 home runs to lead the Spartans and is tied for first in the Mountain West. Dorraugh has a home run in four of his last six games and is closing on former Major League Baseball player Jeff Ball who owns the single-season team record of 15 home runs in 1990.
  • Redshirt sophomore Brady Hill has nine saves this season which is good for tops in the Mountain West and tied for 10th in the country
  • Redshirt junior Aaron Eden earned his sixth win of the season against Nevada (4/24) and redshirt junior Darren Jansen
    earned his sixth win of the season against Nevada (4/22) and they are tied for the most wins in the MW
