SAN JOSÉ, Calif. - Ashley Rico went 2-for-4 with two RBIs in a 4-2 loss to Fresno State in the final game of a three-game conference series at Spartan Softball Complex on Sunday afternoon. San José State (17-16, 3-6 Mountain West) got on the board early, but left too many runners on base in the latter innings.

- Lacie Ham, Jenessa Ullegue and Caroline Bowman all spent time in the circle
- Ham (3-5) had five strikeouts in 3.2 IP
- Alyssa Graham went 2-for-4 with a double and a triple
- Trenity Edwards went 2-for-3 and finished the weekend 5-for-9 with two doubles and two RBIs
- Fresno State (8-26, 2-7 Mountain West) had four runs off of seven hits and one Spartan error
- The Spartans and Bulldogs each recorded seven hits
- San José State stranded nine runners on the bases
