ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. Hunter Dorraugh hit his 14th home run of the season, Robert Hamchuk went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and four runs scored, plus Charles McAdoo went 4-for-6 with two doubles and three RBIs to lead San José State (23-19, 12-10 Mountain West) in a 17-16 win at New Mexico (16-25, 7-15 Mountain West) Friday night from Santa Ana Star Field.

Down by four in the ninth inning, Dalton Bowling hit an RBI double, Jack Colette had a two RBI single, Nathan Cadena hit an RBI single and Reece Hernandez had a pinch-hit sac fly to give the Spartans the lead heading to the bottom of the ninth.

  • RHP Gary Hall came in with two outs and bases loaded in the ninth to nail down his first career save with a strikeout
  • Dorraugh hit a two-run home run and is one home run behind the SJSU single-season record of 15 set by former Major League Baseball player Greg Ball in 1990
  • Dorraugh is second on the team with 36 RBIs
