SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State baseball team (14-15, 6-6 Mountain West) heads on the road to play the University of San Francisco (16-15, 5-4 WCC) Tuesday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond. The game is set for 1:00 p.m. and can be seen on the WCC Network.
- This is the second time the teams have met this season. The Spartans took the first game at home on March 1, 6-5, in extra innings thanks to Omar Gastelum driving in the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th
- The Spartans are four games into an 11 game road trip
- SJSU is second the Mountain West Conference with 33 home runs this season
- Sophomore Charles McAdoo is hitting a team best .391 with seven home runs and a team best 29 RBIs which is good for fifth in the MW and is second in the conference with 45 hits. McAdoo has a hit in 26 of the Spartans 29 games this season and has been on base in every game which is good for second in SJSU history
- Redshirt sophomore Hunter Dorraugh has eight home runs to lead the Spartans this season and is third in Mountain West
- Redshirt sophomore Dalton Bowling has five home runs in his last 10 games including the game tying home run against Santa Clara in the top of the ninth inning (3/22). He came into the season with one career home run and his 27 RBIs this year is second on the team
- Redshirt sophomore Brady Hill has seven saves this season which is good for tops in the Mountain West and ninth in the country
