SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State baseball team (15-15, 6-6 Mountain West) heads to San Diego State (7-21, 1-11 Mountain West) for a three-game series starting on Friday at 6:00 p.m. from Tony Gwynn Stadium. The games can be seen on the Mountain West Network.

  • Earlier this season, the Spartans had their first series sweep over SDSU since 1999 and their first series win against the Aztecs since joining the Mountain West Conference
  • Sophomore Charles McAdoo is hitting a team best .392 with seven home runs and a team best 29 RBIs which is good for sixth in the MW and is tied for first in the conference with 47 hits. McAdoo has a hit in 27 of the Spartans 30 games this season and has been on base in every game which is one game short of the SJSU record of 31 straight games by Brett Bautista in 2018
  • The Spartans are five games into an 11 game road trip
  • SJSU is second the Mountain West Conference with 35 home runs this season
  • Redshirt sophomore Hunter Dorraugh has eight home runs to lead the Spartans this season and is third in Mountain West
  • Redshirt sophomore Dalton Bowling has five home runs in his last 11 games including the game tying home run against Santa Clara in the top of the ninth inning (3/22). He came into the season with one career home run and his 27 RBIs this year is second on the team
  • Redshirt sophomore Brady Hill has seven saves this season which is good for tops in the Mountain West and ninth in the country
