ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. Hunter Dorraugh went 3-for-5 and hit his 15th home run of the season to tie the SJSU single-season home run record and lead San José State (24-20, 13-11 Mountain West) in a 9-7 loss at New Mexico (17-26, 8-16 Mountain West) Sunday afternoon from Santa Ana Star Field.

  • This is the first series win for the Spartans at New Mexico and the Spartans scored 31 runs in the three games
  • Dorraugh's home run was a two-run shot and he tied former Major League Baseball player Jeff Ball who hit 15 home runs for the Spartans in 1990
  • Dorraugh hit two home runs in the series and leads the Spartans and the Mountain West in home runs
