SAN JOSE, Calif. Dalton Bowling went 4-for-4 with two home runs and Ethan Ross struck out eight while only letting up one hit and no runs to lead San José State (28-26, 16-14 Mountain West) in a 12-0 win in seven innings over Sacramento State (29-24, 17-13 WAC) Friday night.

  • SJSU gave up a season-best one hit and the one hit was a career-best for Ross in a start that went 5.0 innings
  • This was the Spartans second shutout of the season
  • The Spartans scored eight runs in the fourth inning
  • Ross tied his career-high with eight strikeouts and went 5.0 innings on the way to his first win of the season
