SAN JOSÉ, Calif. - The San José State Softball Team (20-27, 6-15 Mountain West) will play a midweek contest just down the road at Santa Clara (18-26, 4-5 WCC) on Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. The game will be live streamed on the Broncos' Youtube page.
The Spartans and Broncos have faced off twice earlier this season and San José State has won in six innings both times.

- Jenessa Ullegue (15-8) boasts a 2.52 ERA (6th in the MW) and has a team-best 114 strikeouts on the season
- Karizma Bergesen earned Mountain West Player of the Week honors on 4/11 for her performance at Nevada where she set a new SJSU single-game home run record for her three home runs

- Ashley Trierweiler leads the Broncos' offense with an average of .397
- Santa Clara is coming off a three-game losing streak after being swept by BYU over the weekend
