SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Alyssa Graham hit a home run in the third inning to kick off the Spartans' scoring en route to lead San José State (21-27, 6-15 Mountain West) to a win over Santa Clara (18-27, 4-5 WCC) on Wednesday afternoon on the road. Graham went 1-for-3 with one RBI and notched her seventh home run of the season.
The Spartans win today completes a sweep of the Broncos on the season. SJSU has bested SCU three times in non-conference action in 2022, February 12 at the NorCal Kickoff, February 26 at the SCV Classic and today.

- The Spartans got on the board first with Graham's homer, but the Broncos evened the score at 1-1 in the fourth
- Jillian Figueroa (1-for-2, 1 RBI) hit an RBI single in the sixth to drive in Aubrie Thomas
- Jessica Giacoma scored on a fielding error in the sixth to give the Spartans an insurance run
- All four Spartan pitchers saw action in the circle: Caroline, Bowman, Ashley Goard, Lacie Ham and Jenessa Ullegue
- Ham (4-8) threw the fifth and sixth inning and got the win, while Ullegue earned her second save of the season in the seventh inning
- The Spartans recorded six hits in the win
