SAN JOSE, Calif.—Former San José State women's golfer Natasha Andrea Oon will make her professional debut this weekend at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give, June 16-19, at the Blythfield Country Club in Belmont, Mich.
Oon earned an exemption to the tournament after receiving the 2022 Inkster Award presented by Workday, recognizing the highest-ranked women's Division I collegiate golfer in her final year of eligibility in the 2021-22 season. Oon also received an exemption to the AmazingCre Portland Classic, September 15-18 at the Columbia Edgewater Country Club in Portland, Ore.
On Thursday, Oon will begin play at 2:05 p.m. ET/11:05 a.m. PT, alongside Brooke Matthews and Elizabeth Szokol in the 144-player field.
The tournament will be shown live daily on the Golf Channel and streamed on the NBC Sports app and GolfChannel.com from 3-6 p.m. ET/12-3 p.m. PT.

Oon was a three-time All-American at San José State, earning first team honors in 2022. She was the 2022 Mountain West Player of the Year and won the individual championship after winning by seven strokes. Oon finished as the 2022 NCAA Individual Runner-Up in stroke play and was a 2022 The ANNIKA Award Finalist.
