COLORADO SPRING, Colo.—For the 19th consecutive semester, the San José State women's swimming and diving team has been named a Scholar All-America team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the Spring of 2022.
The 21 student-athletes posted a 3.17 grade-point average to earn the honor.
"Coach Sage Hopkins was recognized as our Ben Franklin winner this year, and we are excited to recognize his team for their work in the classroom," said Greg Earhart, CSCAA Executive Director in a release for this award.
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy and professional development.
