SAN JOSE, Calif. - Viliami Fehoko, Kyle Harmon, Nehemiah Shelton, Elijah Cooks, Cade Hall, Tre Jenkins, Justin Lockhart, Kairee Robinson and Alii Matau were named to the Athlon Sports 2022 All-Mountain West Team. These were the first All-Mountain West honors for five of the nine players.
First Team All-Mountain West Defense
Viliami Fehoko, DL
- Junior from East Palo Alto, Calif.
- Led the team in tackles for loss (10.5), sacks (7), and in forced fumbles (3) in 2021
- Tied for seventh in sacks per game last season in the conference and tied for 12th in tackles for loss per game (12.5)
- Had 36 total tackles on the season in 2021
Kyle Harmon, LB
- Graduate student from Antioch, Calif.
- Named First Team All-Mountain West (2020, 21)
- Finished the season with 133 tackles in 2021
- Tied for ninth in the MW with 72 solo tackles in 2021
Second Team All-Mountain West Defense
Nehemiah Shelton, CB
- Graduate student from Gardena, Calif.
- Tallied 62 tackles in 2021
- Went five consecutive games with breaking up one pass per game in 2021
- Finished the season with 62 tackles, 12 defensive break ups, and two interceptions in 2021
Third Team All-Mountain West Offense
Elijah Cooks, WR
- Transfer from Nevada
- Atascadero, Calif.
- He caught 115 passes for 1,478 yards and had 18 touchdowns at Nevada
- 16 games with a reception of 20 or more yards

Cade Hall, DL
- Graduate student from Morgan Hill, Calif.
- First Team All-Mountain West (2020)
- Earned All-America honors from Walter Camp, USA Today and Sporting News (2020)
- Named Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year (2020)
- Averaged 3.3 tackles per game, 40 tackles total in 2021
- Finished with 23 solo tackles and 17 assisted in 2021
Tre Jenkins, S
- Senior from Stockton, Calif.

Justin Lockhart, WR
- Transfer from Nevada
- Sophomore from Los Angeles, Calif.
- Played in 26 games for the University of Nevada and caught 67 passes for 744 yards and four touchdowns for Nevada
- Had six games with a reception of 30 or more yards
Kairee Robinson, RB
- Senior from Antioch, Calif.
- Finished the season with 280 rushing yards, 159 receiving yards, and two touchdowns in 2021
- Had 159 receiving yards while averaging 13.3 yards per game in 2021
