SAN JOSE, Calif. - The fifth episode of The Charge, San José State's All-Access Show, will air on Friday night at 10:30 p.m. PT immediately following the San Francisco Giants' Postgame Live show on NBC Sports Bay Area. This episode will feature a tribute to hall of fame sports information director Lawrence Fan, amazing runs by baseball and women's golf, along with the unbelievable story of starting softball catcher Trenity Edwards.
Season 1, Episode 5
- First segment: The women's golf team had a record-setting spring season, finishing No. 3 in the country
- Second segment: A tribute to longtime SID and Spartan legend Lawrence Fan, who passed away suddenly this past February
- Third segment: The baseball team improved by 24 wins and made its first trip to the Mountain West championship game
- Fourth segment: Softball player Trenity Edwards balanced being a student-athlete, with running the family business and being a mother
