SAN JOSE, Calif. - Angel Iniguez scored a beautiful goal from the top of the 18-yard box that found its way past the keeper but it was not enough to best UCSB with the Spartans falling to the Gauchos 4-1 in the exhibition season opener.
- Angel Iniguez put the spartans on the board with a shot from the top of the box to tie the match at 1
- Beau Leroux assisted on the goal
- All three Spartan goalkeepers saw action in the match
