SAN JOSE, Calif. - Shayla Sugai proved to be a wall in front of the goal en route to five saves in front of a record crowd of 1351 fans. However, a penalty kick midway through the second half would give No. 5 Santa Clara the 1-0 victory.
- The 1351 fans in attendance today shattered the previous record of 843 in the 2018 home opener against Santa Clara
- Sugai stopped every shot that wasn't a penalty kick
- One goal conceded is the fewest given up to Santa Clara since 1998
