SAN JOSE, Calif. - With the excessive heat scheduled for the Bay Area, San José State's Director of Athletics Jeff Konya announced some changes to the Spartans' schedules this week to accommodate the student-athletes and fans visiting the university for the contests, in addition to watering stations at all home games so that fans can stay hydrated.
Volleyball
- The tournament scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, Sept. 8-10, will now be played on the campus of LMU in Los Angeles.
- The Spartans will take on No. 22 UCLA on Friday (5 p.m.) and LMU on Saturday (3:30 p.m.)
Women's Soccer
- The game against Denver on Thursday scheduled for 4:30 p.m. will now kick at 6:30 p.m. at the Spartan Soccer Complex.
- The Spartans will take on Pacific on Sunday in Stockton, Calif. at 5 p.m.
Men's Soccer
- The men's soccer game on Thursday night will now start at 8:30 p.m., immediately following the women's soccer contest.
Football
- SJSU will take on Auburn this Saturday at 4:30 p.m. PT on ESPNU. Fans can listen to the game through the San Jose State Spartans app (Download Here for FREE – Apple iOS / Google Play/Android) and KTRB (860 AM) beginning at 4 p.m. with the pre-game show.
Men's Water Polo
- The Spartans will host UC Santa Barbara at the regular scheduled time of 3 p.m. as temperatures are scheduled to be in the 80s at match time.
Men's Golf
- San José State will open the 2022-23 season in Colorado at the annual Air Force Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, Friday-Sunday, and live results can be followed HERE.
