FIRST ROUND TEAM RESULTS | FIRST ROUND INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
USAF ACADEMY, Colo. -- Caleb Shetler shot a -2 (70) and Kotaro Murata shot even (72) to lead San José State in the first round of the Gene Miranda Invitational from the Eisenhower Golf Course at the United States Air Force Academy on Friday.
- Shetler finished the first round tied for 12th overall, while Murata is tied for 22nd in the team competition.
- Zubair Firdaus and Kristopher Stiles each shot +3 (75) and Avinash Iyer shot a +4 (76) in his Spartans debut.
- The Spartans finished the first day tied for eighth out of 23 teams with a 292 overall.
- Alaric Mercie De Soultrait also shot +3 (75) in his Spartans debut as an individual.
- Luigi Wong also shot a +3 (75) on the day and was also an individual.
- Both De Soultrait and Wong are tied for 29th in the individuals.
- SJSU starts round two off at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow in the team event.
