SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—School records were broken on Tuesday as Kajsa Arwefjäll shot a school-record 7-under 64 to win her first collegiate title, and the San José State women's golf team recorded a school-record 274 in the final round of the USF Intercollegiate to win the team title at The Olympic Club which played at par 71 for the week.

- Arwefjäll finished the tournament at 11-under 202, and won the tournament by three shots over Allysha Mae Mateo from Brigham Young.
- Arwefjäll finished the third round with a clean card, making seven birdies and 11 pars en route to shooting her school-record 64, breaking the old record of 65 shot by My Leander (2015) and Natasha Andrea Oon (2022).
- Arwefjäll led the tournament field in birdies made with 18 and in par-4 scoring at -8.
- The Spartans set a new school record for lowest score shot in a round at 274, breaking the record of 275 set twice in 2015 and at the 2022 MountainView Collegiate.
- The 10-under for the round ties for the third-best low round in relation to par, following 13-under three times and 11-under twice.
- The 848 team score is the fourth-best score for 54 holes in Spartan history.
- San José State led the field in birdies made with 48.
- Two other Spartans finished in the top-20 in the individual standings. Lucia Lopez Ortega shot a one-under 70 in the final round to finish tied for 10th at one-over 214. She started her round with birdies on three of her first five holes and made eight consecutive pars.
- Antonia Malate tied for 14th at 3-over 216 after shooting a 3-under 68 in the final round. She started birdie-birdie-bogey before making six pars for the front nine. She started the back nine in a similar fashion – birdie-birdie-birdie-par-bogey before making four pars to end her round.
- Rebecca Gyllner finished her first collegiate tournament tying for 25th at 8-over 221.
- Louisa Carlbom shot a 1-over 72 and moved up eight places to finish tied for 31st at 222. She had two birdies, a bogey, double bogey and 14 pars on the day. She tied for third in the field in pars made with 41.
San José State goes back to practice as the team gears up for the Illini Women's Invitational, October 10 & 11 at the Medina Country Club in Medinah, Ill.
