LOS ANGELES, Calif.—Blaire Fleming hit .444 and led the Spartans with 10 kills as the San José State volleyball team fell in the final match of the Trojan Challenge to host Southern California, 3-0, Sunday afternoon inside the Galen Center.

- Fleming recorded 10 kills on 18 swings with only two hitting errors. She also added two blocks for the Spartans.
- Sarah Smevog led the team defensively with 13 digs.
- Amethyst Harper added six kills and recorded all three service aces for SJSU. She also had two solo blocks for the Spartan defense.
- Fleming and Haylee Nelson were named to the Trojan Challenge All-Tournament team.

San José State begins Mountain West action later this week as the Spartans play at San Diego State Thursday night and at Fresno State Saturday afternoon.
