LOS ANGELES, Calif.—Haylee Nelson hit .545, recorded her fourth double-double of the season and led the team in blocking as the San José State volleyball team won 3-1 over Milwaukee Saturday evening at the Trojan Challenge inside the Galen Center.

- Nelson led the Spartans (6-3) with 18 kills on 33 attempts and did not have a hitting error.
- She recorded her fourth double-double of the season and 25th of her career as Nelson recorded 10 digs to go with her 18 kills.
- At the net, Nelson led the team in blocking with six including the team's only solo block of the match and had five block assists.
- Blaire Fleming added 12 kills as she hit .364 for the match and recorded two block assists.
- Amethyst Harper was the third Spartan in double-figure kills at 11, and added seven digs.
- The Spartans had nine service aces in the match, led by Harper with three. Carly Aigner-Swesey and Mia Schafer each had two aces for the Spartans.
- Sarah Smevog made some key digs Saturday to lead the team with 14 digs and added five assists and a service ace.
- Jiana Lawson came off the bench and contributed seven kills and four blocks in the win.
- Yazmin Pitpit saw action in the final two sets and made an impact in the win with seven kills and two blocks.
