SAN JOSÈ, Calif. – Angel Iniguez and Finlay Wood both scored on Thursday night to lead San Josè State men's soccer (3-3-1, 0-0-0 WAC) to a 2-0 victory over Pacific (1-7-1, 0-0-0 WCC) at the Spartan Soccer Complex.
- Iniguez scored just 18 seconds into the second half, unassisted.
- Wood scored in the 67th minute off assists by Anthony Guzman and Iniguez.
- The Spartans had 19 shots total and 10 shots on goal.
- Pacific had four shots total and three shots on goal.
- With the multi-point performance, Iniguez moves to second on the team in points this season with one goal and three assists.
- The Spartans have won back-to-back games with this win over Pacific and a victory over UC Davis last Wednesday night.
Next Game: The Spartans are back home on Friday, September 30th for the first conference game of the season. They will play Houston Christian at 7 p.m.
