COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — San José State center back Jada Wilson has been named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week for her performances against Air Force and Colorado College last week.

- Anchored the Spartans defense in back-to-back shutouts
- Played all 90 minutes in both games.
- Limited opponents to just two shots on goal in 180 minutes of play.
- Played a critical role in helping the Spartans remain undefeated in conference play.

The Spartans are back in action at the Spartan Soccer Complex on Thursday, Sept. 29 for a matchup with Nevada. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
