COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—After winning her first collegiate tournament individual title earlier this month, San José State women's golfer Kajsa Arwefjäll has been named the Mountain West Co-Women's Golfer of the Month for September along with Victoria Gailey of Nevada.

- Won the USF Intercollegiate individual title by three shots after finishing with an 11-under
- Finished the third round with a clean card, making seven birdies and 11 pars en route to shooting a school-record 64 (-7), breaking the old record of 65 shot by My Leander (2015) and Natasha Andrea Oon (2022).
- Led the tournament field in birdies made with 18 and in par-4 scoring at -8.
- San José State won the team title with a 4-under 848, four shots better than second-place UCLA. The Spartans were fourth after the second round and 10 shots behind UCLA.
- Also helped the Spartans set a new school record for lowest score shot in a round at 274 in the third round, breaking the record of 275 set twice in 2015 and at the 2022 MountainView Collegiate.
