SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Cynthia Flores scored the first Spartans goal and Bella Flocchini netted the equalizer to bring San José State (0-3-1, 0-0-0 Mountain West) all the way back from a 2-0 deficit to earn a 2-2 tie against UC Santa Barbara (0-4-1, 0-0-0 Big West) Sunday afternoon at Harder Stadium.

  • Flores scored in the 67th minute off an assist by Sabrina Weinman
  • Flocchini got her goal in the 77th minute, unassisted
  • Flores tied for the team high in shots as both her and Taylor Phillips had two shots total and one shot on target
  • Shayla Sugai recorded four saves
  • With the tie, the Spartans earn their first point of the season
