USAF ACADEMY, Colo. -- The San José State men's golf team will compete in the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational this Friday through Sunday at the Eisenhower Golf Course at the United States Air Force Academy to open their season. 

  • The Spartans had six top-six finishes a season ago
  • Caleb Shetler, Zubair Firdaus, Kristopher Stiles, Kotaro Murata and Avinash Iyer will all compete in the team event
  • Luigi Wong, Alaric Mercie De Soultrait and Parker Heath will play in the individual portion
  • On Friday and Saturday, tee times begin at 7:30 a.m. (PT) and on Sunday at 6:30 a.m. (PT)
  • Players will have a chance to practice on Thursday

NEXT UP: SJSU will head to the Husky Invitational on Sept. 19 and 20 at the Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash.
