LODI, Calif. - Amelio Chio ran a career-best 27:20.5 in the men's 8k while Constance O'Neal ran a 23:49.8 in the women's 6k to lead San José State at the Pacific Invitational Friday evening.
- SJSU's men finished fifth overall averaging 27:38.8
- Chio finished 43rd overall while O'Neal finished 50th
- For the men, Michael Chadwick ran a career-best 27:29.9 while Christian Moreno ran 27:39.9
- Christopher Malone ran a 27:48.8 in his first career race and Christian Rodriguez ran 27:54.738
- Chadwick finished 50th, Moreno 55th, Malone 56th and Rodriguez 58th
- For the women, Nereyda Alvarez Gonzalez ran 24:17.7 in her first career race
