SAN JOSE, Calif.—Blaire Fleming led the Spartan hitting attack with 12 kills as the San José State volleyball team swept New Mexico, 3-0, Thursday night inside Spartan Gym and improved to 7-0 in the Mountain West.

- Fleming hit .350 for the match and had the set winning kill in the first set.
- Jiana Lawson led the Spartans in blocks with five, two solo and three assists, and hit .667 for the match with six kills on nine attempts.
- Haylee Nelson added six kills and two digs, while Letizia Cammillucci had five kills, a team-best four service aces and two digs.
- Sarah Smevog, the reigning MW Defensive Player of the Week, led the defense with 17 digs.
- Setters Mia Schafer and Carly Aigner-Swesey had 18 and 14 assists, respectively, and two aces and four digs each.
- The first set was the closest of the night with six lead changes and 12 tied scores, the final at 23-23, before back-to-back kills by Cammillucci and Fleming gave the Spartans the 25-23 win.
